1976 & 1980 Acquired major collections of prehistoric Caddo Indian pottery for the San Antonio Museum of Art
1973 Led bus and boat tours for the Witte Memorial Museum to see ancient cave paintings left by the Pecos River Culture
1970-1975 Worked in conservation effort to save ancient Pecos River Culture pictographs (one major site is now large state park with a museum)
